Two Way Flat Composite disc for a wide range of applications
Two-Way Flat Rupture Disc is of a composite design with unique tri-membrane construction intended to prevent vessel damage from under vacuum or over pressure conditions. This two-way bursting disc is suitable for a wide range of applications, withstanding either the same pressure on both sides of the disc (2WS) or 2 varying burst pressures (2WD). The two-way flat composite disc acts as a single design for both positive and negative pressure protection and can be manufactured in a wide range of materials.
Two-Way rupture disc with superior performance and reliability
This non-fragmenting composite disc brings enhanced protection, reliability and leak tightness. Manufactured with various slotting arrangements to meet specific application requirements, this disc is compatible with liquid, gas and vapour applications. With a 40% operating to burst pressure ratio and 5% tolerance this bi-directional rupture disc offers superior performance for a range of process conditions. Due to its assembly, this bursting disc offers you additional reliability and peace of mind with its integrated burst detection system Flo-Tel™+ allowing you to instantly know when the disc has ruptured in either direction.
Single installation for positive and negative pressure protection
This two-way, non-fragmenting design is available in sizes 25mm to 300mm providing a single installation for both positive and negative pressure protection. Dependent on the various pressure and vacuum conditions the Two-way Burst Flat Composite can be manufactured under a range of operating conditions.
Two-Way Rupture Disc with integral, ATEX-approved detection
Due to its effective assembly, this two-way rupture disc offers you instantaneous notification of disc burst when used with ATEX-approved, reusable detection system Flo-Tel+. Two-way Flat Composite is installed into Elfab’s standard forward acting holder when burst detection is required in the positive direction only. For customers requiring notification of disc burst under either
